I know Tyler Perry to be extremely good with theatrical work but this one exceeded all my expectations. In a single movie you get fun, massive suspense, superb acting and extreme pleasure. When the movie begins, we're meant to believe that a woman named Melinda Gayle (Taraji Henson) has been extremely wronged by her husband. Throughout the movie i was left thinking that the ex-husband is the most vile person to ever live. While watching this i kept on asking myself "what did this guy do to this woman?" Trust me, you will wait a little bit as the anxiety continues to build up in you. As the heat intensifies in this movie, we realize that the wife might be the deranged one. However some may say the wife's actions are completely justified while some saying the same about the husband. I know it may seem racist to some but Taraji played the role of a bitter black woman superbly. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat and you will expect shock after shock in this movie. This is an excellent black movie where issues such as love success, revenge, infidelity, loyalty and trust are the key issues. After i finished this movie my mouth was wide open and i had like a million emotions running through my body and couldn't believe how phenomenal the movie was, now that's what you call a first-rate movie!!!
Omg!! Taraji Henson, what a performance. I was not expecting this movie to be this good, in fact I totally ignored it. Im happy I did eventually see it n man was it satisfying. Im not a fan of Tyler Perry bt this was great. I highly recommend it. :)
