Riley North's life seems peaceful until one day she and her family are attacked to a point where her husband and child are gunned down in front of her eyes. She on the other hand is lucky to survive though she slips into a comma. Riley seeks justice but to no avail due to the corrupt system. The widow then goes underground for years and when she emerges she's driven by revenge, anger and frustration. She then takes matters into her own hands and avenges her family's murder. Even though the storyline is cliché, the execution is a bit impressive. The action is endless throughout the entire movie. The strong acting from Jennifer Garner completely dominated the movie making it a mustwatch. At one point i even got emotional watching this widow fighting the whole world on her own while grieving as well. Even though it was a sad movie, the end is a bit comforting.
