Camille Preaker (a reporter) returns to her small hometown to investigate a series of unresolved crimes. While undertaking her investigations, she also reunites with her family. The tension in the family however can't be ignored as Camille and her mother are always clashing with the latter indirectly blaming Camille for her young sister's death. With Amy Adams exhibiting some potential psychotic behavior, the suspension in this series especially at beginning makes it worth watching oh and not forgetting how people in the small town act a bit weird.
