Maria, a teenager suffering from low self-esteem unleashes evil when she trades places with a dark mirror image of her. This mirror image begins to cause havoc in Maria's life and the real Maria can't do anything while trapped behind a mirror. Even though this movie lacks originality, there are some aspects i appreciated especially from India Eisley. As the main character, she fits perfectly into her role with her psycho personality which is totally believable. Inasmuch as this is a supernatural horror, the killings are physical and seem realistic. There seemed to be more to dad's character but unfortunately his character didn't develop as i expected especially considering how he shows some weird vibes in the movie. The ending is also a bit dull and it appears as though the movie was holding back but all the same, the rest of the movie is pretty descent. Look Away is not really adult horror but more of a teen horror movie that anyone can enjoy.
