The Silence 2019 Movie Review: A Must-Watch Movie That Should Be Separated From 'A Quiet Place'

'The Silence' is one of the best movies of 2019 I have watched so far. Some may say this is a replica of a 'A Quiet Place' but I think there's more to this movie than it being just a duplicate of another. Blood thirsty creatures which hunt by sound have been trapped underground for years and are accidentally released and this marks the beginning of the end of the world. A family must now find refuge away from the city where there is minimal sound therefore increasing their chance of survival. I don't really care about how some people despise this movie simply because they have something to compare it to. Yes, the idea is a bit common these days but being a true critic entails isolating this movie and appreciating it as an independent film rather than a comparison which most critics have been doing. 

         

                                      

The acting by Kiernan Shipka is totally impressive. She plays her role so well making this movie entirely believable. The creatures called the vesps are extremely creepy and terrifying. These blood sucking creatures give you the chills. They mean business and are merciless and the worst part is they're birds so they can almost fit into anything giving the survivors little room for survival. Even though I was scared for Hugh Andrews (Stanley Tuccia) and his family throughout the entire movie, I really enjoyed this movie and was a bit disappointed that it was short because I didn't want it to end. This film definitely makes the list of 2019 must-watch movies.
