The Prodigy is a supernatural horror film that revolves around reincarnation and what it entails. John and Sarah Blume are excited to be welcoming their first child into the world. Unfortunately, they have no idea what they're in for with their son Miles. At a very young age, Miles starts to show violent and weird behaviour which can't be ignored. When his mom, Sarah seeks professional advice about his son's behaviour she is beyond shocked to find out that her son is possessed by some evil spirit which is extremely cunning. Sarah finds herself torn between living with her possessed child and getting rid of him. I'm a fan of horror movies and over the years I have come to appreciate the psycho roles played by child actors and how much these kids showcase the true definition of horror in their acting. Even though it's just a movie, Miles really creeped me out and reminded me of the bad seed. Despite the ending being a bit sad for me, I applause the suspense, darkness and plot twist of this movie. If you love suspense and horror, you'll definitely enjoy this one.
